Dubai International Terminal 3 contract announced

APW Enclosure Solutions has announced that it has been awarded the contract for all the electronic enclosures for the data networks, communications and other systems for the Terminal 3 development at Dubai International airport.  The first phase requirement of more than 650 Image 620 universal networking cabinets has already been shipped, as have over 50 VERAK environmentally sealed, IP65 racks for use in baggage handling areas.  The IMserv server enclosures have also been qualified for the project and will be shipped in accordance with the required schedule as the construction work progresses.  Barry Maidment, Marketing Manager for APW, said, "We have worked closely with the airport authorities and the main contractors to ensure that we put forward the most effective options for housing the complex equipment needed in such a prestigious development.
