Dubai International Terminal 3 contract announced

APW Enclosure Solutions has announced that it has been awarded the contact for all the electronic enclosures for the data networks, communications and other systems for the Terminal 3 development at Dubai International airport.  The first tranche of more than 1000 Image 620 universal networking cabinets has already been shipped, as have a quantity of VERAK environmentally sealed racks for use in baggage handling areas.  The initial order for IMserv server housings has also been received and will be shipped in accordance with the required schedule as the construction work progresses.  Barry Maidment, Marketing Manager for APW, said, "We have worked closely with the airport authorities and the main contractors to ensure that we put forward the most effective options for housing the complex equipment needed in such a prestigious development.  With a wide portfolio of different standard enclosures, each optimised for specific sectors of the market, we have a strong base from which to develop the most effective and cost-efficient package to meet the differing needs of the project."
