Designed for use in all sizes of LAN installations, the IMnet 410 is a cost-effective small enclosure with outstanding cable management capabilities. Available in depths of 400 and 500mm and heights of 6, 9, 12 and 15U, the 600mm wide enclosure will house both active equipment and act as a cable cabinet, enabling it to be used as a breakout or distribution cabinet in a larger installation or as a equipment cabinet in a smaller one. An optional 100mm deep rear section is available; the 400 or 500mm deep unit is then hinged off the rear section to give improved access to the rear of the installed equipment. IMnet 410 combines a common appearance and colour scheme - anthracite with blue trim - with the larger floor standing units; it offers good security, versatile cable entry options, common keying and accessories. Installers benefit both from the large range of accessories and the pre-assembled welded construction that ensures on-site time is minimised. The 19" panel mountings are inset, giving space for patch cords in front of the panels and space on both sides for front-to-back cable runs. Cable entry is through clip-in gland plates located at the rear of the top and the base; the lockable steel or glass front doors are readily reversible and equipment shelves are available for use with stand-alone equipment. The top and base covers have pre-punched ventilation slots, normally covered by clip-out blanking panels. When airflow is required through the unit, the covers are simply removed. For ultimate network security the IMnet 410 can be fitted with APW's unique Fire Protection Unit, adding an automatic detection and extinguishing capability within the unit. *** Ends: 302 words *** Notes to Editors.
