KAC invented the break glass call point in 1972 and is still the world leader in the market; System Sensor is the world's largest manufacturer of two-stage detectors and addressable sensors for fire detection systems. After taking a first degree in the UK and a Masters in the US, David joined KAC in 1995 as General Manager having previously held senior positions in the medical and automotive industries. Under his leadership, KAC sales growth has consistently outstripped the industry average and earnings have also grown at a significant rate.
