The facility manufactures smoke detectors and audible-visual products for the Russian and CIS markets, and, after a rigorous approval exercise carried out by the Fire Brigade Approval Authority, VNIIPO, the plant has now received its official approval certificates. VNIIPO is the only Russian Approval Authority authorised to carry out product testing, to inspect production plants and to issue certificates. The award of the official approval documentation is a further confirmation of System Sensor's presence in, and commitment to, the Russian market. System Sensor Fire Detectors' manufacturing capacity and stock holding enables it to be very responsive to increases in demand in the rapidly growing Russian market place, with product available to local fire company partners on short delivery times; technical support is also provided for partners and end users. *** Ends: 145 words *** Notes to Editors.
