IMRAK cabinets are convergence-ready for the broadcast industry

IPTV, 21CN, 3G mobile are driving the rapid convergence between broadcast, telecoms and IT, with the boundaries between broadcasters and content providers becoming increasingly blurred.  The increased requirement for digitisation at all stages in the broadcast creation and distribution channel brings new equipment into the studio, creating new demands on the enclosures housing the equipment. The range, available in numerous combinations of height, width and depth - including a 1000mm version for extra-deep servers and other equipment - offers an unrivalled combination of benefits.  Cable space behind the mounted equipment is as large as possible, there are many options for distributing power around the rack and individual cabinets in a bayed suite can be grounded together or isolated.  Optional cover trims maintain the cabinet's elegant appearance when front doors are not required and the panel mountings can be adjusted when racks are bayed together.  If significant heat has to be removed from the enclosure, fully ventilated doors, either single or twin "wardrobe" style, can be fitted front and rear; numerous thermal management solutions, including intelligent fan trays and high throughput fan trays ensure effective heat removal.  The bolted frame construction allows the cabinet to be disassembled for installations with restricted access and a range of standard, heavy duty fixed or sliding shelving enables IMRAK to house any size of equipment.
