Uprated high output synchronised sounders with additional tones

European Safety Systems has introduced upgraded versions of its two most popular units, the A120 and the A110.  The new A121 and A112 models feature increased output levels and both have a further 13 different tones, giving a total of 45.  A redesign of the re-entrant horn has improved clarity and sound quality across the operating frequency range, and all models now have volume controls as standard.  The A121 is rated at 121dB(A) at 1m at nominal voltage, the A112 at 112db(A), giving the A121 an effective range in excess of 300m, the A112 about 125m.  The internal 4MHz clock ensures that all sounders in a zone are automatically synchronised with each other, improving the audibility of the warning.  Single, double or triple stage alarm sequences can be selected from the 45 different tones available, complying with the requirements of the regulatory bodies in the major developed countries. In addition to having a very realistic bell sound, the units can also mimic the traditional siren, enabling current-hungry and inherently unreliable devices to be replaced with an electronic equivalent.

Both models operate from 24 or 48VDC or 24, 115 or 230VAC, with low current consumptions at all voltages; the dual in-and-out terminals accept one 4.00mm2.  The A121 measures 190 x 190 x 192 deep, the A112 168 x 168 x 157 deep, and both sizes are fitted with reinforced mounting lugs to withstand shock and vibration.
