New Sales and Marketing Director for Elma Electronic

Elma Electronic UK Ltd. has appointed Peter Hanlon to the new position of Sales and Marketing Director.  Following the successful integration of the Elma and Mektron businesses into the new purpose-built Bedford facility, Peter will head up the UK sales and commercial team as well as a focus on building the international business for rugged and military system solutions to expand from the established strong position in the UK market. The UK operation will provide the other Elma group companies, specialist systems integrators and end users with solutions for prototype development, pre-production and volume manufacturing of standard and customised products and systems for the military, aerospace, transport and other demanding market sectors.  

Peter will lead the development of closer relationships with global customers in the target markets, building on his previous experience with Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing, for whom he held the position of Director of Business Development with a similar world-wide remit. He has more than twenty year's experience in the electronics industry and holds a Bachelors degree in Physics and Engineering Science.
