EXTRA SIZES IN HAND-HELD ENCLOSURE RANGE

Hammond Electronics has announced that additional sizes and extra features are now available in its 1593 range of hand-held instrument enclosures, produced in sizes ranging from 66 x 66 x 28mm to 140 x 66 x 28mm.
Eight different sizes are produced; all have a recess in the lid to take a membrane keypad or display module, and all sizes except the smallest can be supplied with or without a battery compartment.  
Four PC card standoffs are moulded into all sizes: many sizes are also fitted with PC card guides.
All sizes are fitted with a removable plain plastic front panel for mounting switches and indicators; optional infrared transparent panels for use in remote control units are also available.  The largest and smallest sizes can also be fitted with panels at both ends if required, and a belt clip accessory is also available.  The units are manufactured from general purpose ABS plastic in grey and black with a textured finish.
