KAC expands its product portfolio into sounders and strobes 
with the launch of the feature-rich, cost competitive World Series

After a wide-ranging review of its capabilities following its acquisition earlier this year by the Honeywell Corporation, KAC has been designated as the centre of excellence for the design, manufacture and marketing of call-points and audible-visual products. 

KAC will be introducing a comprehensive range of audible-visual products into its product portfolio with effect from January 2001.  The new World Series combines outstanding technical attributes with extremely competitive prices to give superb value for money.  The range is uniquely optimised for use in both 24VDC fire systems and 12VDC security and residential fire systems; the 24VDC sounders, strobes and combined units are available in both conventional and intelligent versions and the 12VDC units are compatible with both latching and non-latching control panels.  A wide choice of numbers of tones, colours and mounting configurations is available in both operating voltages, and with ex-stock supply and competitive pricing, the service matches the product performance.  

KAC Marketing Manager, Jonathan Dipple, explained the logic behind the extension to the company's traditional product portfolio.  "We have always offered our customers outstanding service and support on our original core break glass call point business", he said, "We are totally focussed on fulfilling small and medium volume orders on an ex-stock basis at very competitive prices.  We also offer outstanding technical support, back-up and customisation facilities for our extensive customer base world-wide.  These products are a good fit with our in-house capabilities and they are also something that the great majority of our existing fire and security system customers will already be purchasing".
