KAC supplied the emergency stop devices when the equipment was originally installed; the new resettable call point, used in conjunction with KAC's unique double pole contact call point base, is more accessible and easier to operate in an emergency. The resettable call points provide 'no-glass' operation. Particularly appropriate for use in areas where glass fragments would themselves present a possible hazard, the resettable unit is ideal for emergency machine stops and other safety-related applications where a rapid and reliable manual actuation device is essential. To operate, the front face of the unit is pressed in the normal way; the unit then latches into the operated condition, with a bright yellow indicator bar dropping into the display window. A special security key is required to reset the unit, ensuring that safety and security staff will be made aware of any activation. *** Ends: 174 words *** Notes to Editors.
