The recessed unit intrudes by only 170mm into the enclosure, maximising space for the housed equipment; it mounts into the same cut out as a number of Pfannenberg's larger filter fans, enabling manufacturers to readily change from forced-air cooling to air conditioned cooling for different applications or markets. The low noise IP54 sealed unit is suitable for use by panel builders, machine builders and for cooling switchgear cabinets or electronic enclosures installed anywhere from on the shop floor to an office environment. The DTFI 9021 is available in 115 or 230V single phase and 400V three phase versions, it is factory set to produce a 35°C internal ambient; an automatic fault signal is generated if the internal temperate exceeds 50°C and it can interface with other cabinet sensors such as door contacts.
