DEREK WORSLEY JOINS SYSTEM SENSOR EUROPE

Derek Worsley has joined System Sensor Europe as Technical Support Manager from Honeywell sister company Notifier, where he was European Product Manager.  He is in charge of submitting System Sensor detectors and other products for product approvals from all relevant regulatory authorities; he also has the overall responsibility for technical support for all System Sensor partners throughout Europe, the Middle East, India, Australia and South America.  He is a key member of the new product development team.

Born in Southern Africa, Derek studied electronics and telecommunications during six years of military service; he also spent five years as a game warden in Zimbabwe before moving to the UK in 1984.  His experience in the fire industry goes back to 1986 when he joined Android Alarms, a company subsequently taken over by Notifier.  Having held a variety of technical and marketing roles within Notifier, he has wide experience of both conventional and analogue control panel and detection technology,
